I got this from Patsy this morning. Nancy came through the surgery just fine, but has had a couple of set backs due to complications from medication and she has been extremely weak.  Gena said she was doing better yesterday as they have addressed the medication issues.  Her vital signs are good.  She is still in St. John’s and needs lots of rest. We went out this morning to take a look at the golf course and the new clubhouse  where we will have lunch. Scheduling KISS to play a small venue like the PCCC was a difficult negotiation but when they found out the SHS class of 64's 65th Birthday Bash - "Medicare Mayhem"  was scheduled for the weekend, they agreed to perform Monday the 18th to top off our event. Thanks to the generosity of several class members, I was able to justify the cost of a major web design software purchase. My current adobe suit is CS3 and I will be upgrading to CS5. The recent poll indicates that July 16th shows the greatest number of possible participants. Strangely, that was also the largest number of people who could not come. After the last poll regarding the use of this blog as a link for class of 64 grads, I have decided, at least for now, to continue it as usual. I will also continue the shs64.net website. Comments both on line and in private indicate it continues to serve as an open link for our graduating class.
